Assembly wear parts
Need mechanics for assembly of wear parts or complete projects?
Wivé Techniek has the professionals for every job. As a supplier, we naturally take care of extremely precise measurements and manufacture and deliver parts with extended tool life in accordance with particularly low tolerances. Nevertheless, their assembly sometimes poses problems. For example, because the customer does not have enough experienced fitters in house. Or because the environment no longer meets the original specifications. As soon as on-site adjustments are required for problem-free assembly, it becomes apparent how difficult wear parts are to machine. The material is too hard for conventional techniques. Assembly of wear-resistant material requires specific expertise and tools: work for wear reduction specialists.
Assembly wear parts with experienced mechanics and high-quality equipment
Increasingly, therefore, Wivé Techniek supplies not only the wear-resistant materials but also experienced professionals for their assembly. Engineers who understand your needs and who can seamlessly integrate our products into your processes.
Measuring with digital precision
Special mention deserves our surveying service. We can visit you with our own Leica RTC 360 scanner to measure your project to millimeter accuracy. The 3D measurement data produced by this scanner serves as input for high-quality precision production of the wear parts or elements.
Experienced professionals
Fabricating, assembling and welding on wear-resistant materials is real craftsmanship. Not every welder can weld on wear-resistant material. Thanks to years of experience, our welders and fitters know exactly how to prepare and assemble parts in such a way as to achieve the desired result.
Stand time extension in new construction plants
Incidentally, our expertise in wear prevention can also be particularly valuable in new construction. It saves a lot of time, energy and money if you take wear-related “pain points” into account during the design phase of machinery or equipment. Preventive application of wear-resistant materials can prevent many costs. What happens if the machine builder does not take wear into account is something we notice in our daily practice. We regularly replace brand-new parts of installations ‘ex factory’ with wear-resistant alternatives that contribute to a significantly longer service life right from the start. And thus to undisrupted operations. After all, with limited wear, our customer can more easily schedule the production stop for maintenance at a later, more convenient time. In this way, tool life extension ensures flexibility in maintenance.
Examples mounting wear parts
The photo reports below offer a nice impression of actual projects in which the mechanics of Wivé Techniek have worked on site or in our workshop to install wear-resistant materials. Sometimes they even contributed to the reassembly of wear-resistant parts in the customer’s installations.
